Nancy Yawn, Director of the Round Rock (TX) Conventi on & Visitors Bureau, has been elected to the board of directors of the Nati onal Associati on of Sports Commissions (NASC). Yawn is also past-president and a member of the Round Rock Rotary Club and has served on the Texas Associati on of Conventi on & Visitors Bureaus.

Nancy is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Administrati on and Marketi ng. She has taken the leadership role in positi oning Round Rock as a successful host for important sports events. These events produce economic impact through visitor spending and positi ve publicity for the desti nati on. The Round Rock Conventi on & Visitors Bureau has been focused on the sports event market since about 2003, and is recognized as one of the top host citi es in the southwest.
