Elizabeth Chaney Young was promoted to Vice President in January 2018. She has served the NASC in various capacities since 2007, most recently as director of membership and marketing, and has been an integral part of the growth of the association over the last decade. Elizabeth carries out the strategic plan to support the growth of the organization and service of its 800 members. She manages the support staff and day-to-day operations of membership, marketing, communications, events, education, and vendor relations, and is the staff liaison for member committees.
Before joining the NASC, Elizabeth was an account executive for Pacers Sports and Entertainment and marketing associate for The Ohio State University Department of Athletics. She's also served as an adjunct faculty member at Northern Kentucky University and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Elizabeth is a proud alum of The Ohio State University, with a bachelors degree in business administration and a masters degree in sport and exercise management. She is a member of ASAE, AMA, and AFP. She received a certificate in personal productivity from the Leadership Management Institute. While she wears many hats at the NASC, her favorite roles are that of wife and mom. Elizabeth resides in Cincinnati with her husband Jordan and their two children, Henry and Charlotte.
