Andrew D. Schmidt, CHME, MPA is a twenty-four year veteran of the hospitality industry with a mix of hotel, destination marketing, and academic background. Andrew has worked with the Greenville-Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau in various capacities for 23 years and currently serves as the Executive Director for the organization. Andrew has also an Adjunct Faculty Member of the ECU School of Hospitality Leadership with fifteen years of experience teaching introductory and senior level courses in the School of Hospitality Leadership. Andrew holds a graduate degree from East Carolina University in the field of Public Administration and also received his undergraduate degree from ECU as well. Andrew lives in Greenville, North Carolina with his wife Kim and has four adult children, Abby 24, John, 20, Sabrina 20, and Ryan 18.
