About NASC Membership

Our members include organizations that attract sporting events to their community, (i.e. sports commissions, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), parks and recreation, etc.) event owners, and vendors to the sport tourism industry. The NASC is the primary network for communication and information sharing on all topics relating to the sport tourism industry.

Please note: all of our memberships are organization-based; therefore all employees of the organization become members under their organization's annual membership.

We invite you to join this network and add your organization to our prestigious list of members.


Membership Categories

Membership in the NASC is granted to an organization that meets the criteria as outlined for the three categories.




Sports commissions, chambers of commerce, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), parks and recreation departments, and other organizations that represent communities which solicit and service sports events, sports organizations, and other types of sports-related activities in their community. Can represent a city or metropolitan area, region, state, or country.


(Industry Partners)


Organizations that providing equipment, services, or attractions to the sport tourism industry (i.e., sports marketing companies, consulting and/or architectural firms, sports equipment manufacturers, facility management or food service companies, etc.).


Rights Holder

(Sports Event Owners)


Sports organizations and associations, national governing bodies (NGBs), and other companies that bid out and award sports events to which they own the rights.
