2018 was a year of growth for the ever-evolving sports events and tourism industry, highlighted with record attendance at our annual Symposium and more than 850 organizational members as of November 1.
We also improved relationships with industry partners. Most notably, we announced in September our partnership with Destinations International to standardize economic impact reporting. With more than 140 NASC members already utilizing DI’s sports module, we are now encouraging all members to switch to this method of reporting.
