Matt Dunn, STS
Matt has taken a unique and rewarding path into the business of sport, breaking in with the British Olympic Camp in his native Florida, training and acclimating United Kingdom Olympic athletes to the climate rigors of the southeastern United States prior to the Atlanta Olympic Games. He then served in progressive roles with the Gainesville Sports Commission, US Pro Cycling Tour, ESPN’s X Games, the Great Outdoor Games, global events for Red Bull, and held management positions for both the Capital One and Champs Sports collegiate bowl games. He was appointed to serve on the Gainesville Sports Commission Board of Trustees, Destinations Florida, and Sports ETA. From 2008-2019 her served as the Executive Director of two Destination Marketing Organizations in Florida. In 2019, he founded the Raconteurs agency, is the publisher of PUSH Magazine, co-founded Salty Sports Society, an event production firm, and co-founded the Sunshine Sports Council. Dunn’s career has a strong through-line of developing tools and tactics that increase traffic, tourism, and destination exposure while creating compelling and revenue generating campaigns. He is recognized as a leader in sales and marketing solutions, relevancy testing and the development of ‘business essentials’ for small to mid-market DMO’s, CVB’s and Sports Commissions.
