Kevin is the Managing Partner of The Collective Best, a sports and tourism advisory company in St. Petersburg, Florida. Kevin has worked in the sports and tourism industry for 25 years. First for 17 years with the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Sports Commission. He founded OnPoint Sports Strategies as a way to help promote sports tourism as well as work with communities developing their own sports tourism platforms. That success led to a partnership in 2020 with 5 other industry experts to form The Collective BEST. A collaborative partnership that provides expert advice to both destinations and event organizations. Kevin served on the National Association of Sports Commissions’ Board of Directors for 9 years and was elected by the membership to the position as Chairman of the Board in 2014. Kevin and his St. Pete Clearwater Sports Commission colleagues founded the Sports Legacy Program. This program was developed to provide a community impact in member cities of the National Association of Sports Commissions annual symposium. The Sports Legacy Fund provides donated sports equipment and financial support in communities and has provided more than $150,000 in equipment and funding. In 2019, Kevin was selected to the National Hall of Fame for the Sports Events and Travel Association. Kevin is a member of the Board of Directors of the Reliaquest Bowl (formally the Outback Bowl) in Tampa, Florida for 34 years. He was elected by the Board to the position of Chairman Board for the 2015 game. Kevin and his board colleagues have provided $1,000,000 in donations to Tampa Bay area charities including Clearwater for Youth, ARC of Tampa Bay, the Skills Center of Tampa and West Care of Florida. Kevin serves on the St. Leo University Sports Business Advisory Council and has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Sports Foundation. Kevin is also one of the founding members of the Sunshine Sports Council in Florida.
