John David, Chief Operating Officer, USA BMX

John David is the Chief Operating Officer of USA BMX, the World’s Largest Sanctioning Body for the Olympic sport of bicycle motocross racing (BMX), where he has been since 2000. In addition to executing the mission of the association, John focuses heavily on the creation of the USA BMX annual national series, which consist of more than thirty national level events hosted across North America including the annual Grand National Championships and BMX Olympic Trials. Recently John co-coordinated the asset purchase of the National Bicycle League to create a singular governing body thus unifying the sport of BMX for the first time since its inception over 40 years ago.

John also serves as the Secretary of the Board for the Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission, is a member of the Austin CVB Customer Advisory Board as well as the USA Cycling National Technical Commission.
