Improvise Your Way to Engaging Customers and Increasing Sales

Sponsored by:

Summary:

This high-level, interactive session focuses on how to increase sales through more meaningful customer engagement, agile communication, and the ability to capitalize on opportunities in the moment.  Activities include demonstration with interactive exercises using the tools of applied improvisation to specifically address:

  • Focused listening for greater understanding of customer’s perspective
  • Engaging in a dialogue vs. presenting through monologue
  • Using fewer questions and making more assumptions

Get conversations and customers to "Yes, And!" through this fun, playful and improvisational approach to building trusting relationships.

The presentation begins with an overview of how the tools of improvisation can help participants quickly and effectively connect with others through agile, consumer-centric communication.

Following this, through demonstrations and interactive exercises, participants experience the tools as a means of fostering deeper engagement with their customer. Participants leave the session with a greater sense of how improvisation leads to more focused attention in the moment, increasing the likelihood of a stronger connection to the customer and a more consultative approach to the sales process.
